Account Deletion

01How to delete

• •By email: from your registered email address, write to hello@peipao.app with the subject "Delete my account". Once we verify it’s you, we delete the account and confirm by reply.
• •In-app: the official release will include one-tap deletion under Settings → Delete Account — no email needed then.

02What gets deleted

• •Account data (email, nickname).
• •Care signals and event records (activity, heartbeats, location, check-in history).
• •Your settings, teammate relationships and invitations (your teammates will no longer see you).
• •Letter Doves: letters you received and your drafts are removed. Letters you already sent stay in your recipients’ mailboxes (a keepsake for them too), but you appear only as “a pen pal who has left” — none of your personal data remains.

Deletion is irreversible — removed data cannot be recovered. Please be sure.

03How long it takes

• •After we receive and verify your request, your data is removed from our systems promptly.
• •Backup copies are purged within 30 days at the latest.

04Waitlist emails

If you only left an email on our website (no app account yet), removal works the same way: just write to hello@peipao.app.
